Unique Centerpiece Hack using Curvy Keepsake Thinlits

I am so happy with this little hack using the Curvy Keepsake Thinlits Die. I discovered it by pure chance, when I was trying to make optimum use of my card stock when I was making a lots of Curvy Keepsake gifts.

Start with a piece of A4 card stock and cut it on the horizontal side at 5 3/4".

Next position your Curvy Keepsake Thinlint Die to the bottom right corner of your card stock (exactly as shown below) and run it through your Big Shot. If you send your sandwich through your Big Shot in the same direction as the more pointy part of the die is facing, you'll find it goes through so much easier.

Next, position the die on the opposite corner of your card stock. I like to flip the card stock around so that I'm working in the same direction as the first step. Again, run this through your Big Shot.

If you can't see the cute little shape by now, let me show you...............

Ta Da......!

How fun is this?!

This is the shape that took center stage on my Birthday Bouquet project last week. Becuase each shape you end up with is ever so slightly different in size and curvature, you can mix and match to create fun little layers and toppers.

And the bonus is, you do end up making the most out of your card stock, with minimal waste left over.

I hope you decide to give this cute little hack a try. I'd love to see your creations for how you use the shape in your projects. Feel free to leave me a comment and send me any of your pics.
